Thank you for your interest in our annual October Psychic Fair! Each October, hundreds of thousands of visitors arrive in Westchester County, for local tours, local and sometimes familiar haunts and all things Halloween...many who return year after year. Some come for the history, some come for the horror, but many come for one of the area's most popular events: the Annual Psychic Fair & New Age Bazaar (Formerly the Sleepy Hollow Psychic Fair & New age Bazaar (we outgrew Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown), seeking out a reading from one of our talented psychics. Psychic Reader Contract
The Festival of Witches Psychic Fair & New Age Bazaar welcomes you as a Psychic Reader in this year's show! To complete the process, just follow these simple steps:
#1. Submit a clear, color, professional looking head shot photo so that we may include you on our website and in advertising. Photo submissions may be sent to sleepyhollowwitches@outlook.com and must be in jpeg or GIF format.
#2. Submit a bio about you in the form below. Talk about your experience, the medium in which you will be using (tarot, runes, mediumship, clairvoyance, etc). Bio's help attendees decide which psychic they would like to sit with and helps us to direct attendees to the reader who may fit their preference.
#3. Reserve your space with payment below.
Cost per reader entry is $100 . A table and two chairs are provided.
Entree fees are NON REFUNDABLE.
Readings are $50 for 20 minutes, with a 50/50 split between the reader and the house.
Event is held indoors. Psychic Set-Up begins at 7:30 AM in the reception area (just outside the ballroom) for those psychics wishing to read for VIP ticket holders who come in at 8 AM, 9:30 AM for those psychics wanting to start when the doors open to the rest of the public. Our VIP ticket holders have early access into the event and will begin arriving at 8 A.M. All psychics will be emailed the event set up packet, which includes set up time and other pertinent exhibitor, psychic and show information. Exhibitor/Set up packet will also be posted in the event participant's group on Facebook, which you are added to upon completion of registration and payment, as will all updates.
The number of space is readerLIMITED a nd FEES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE TO SECURE YOUR SPACE.
We require a commitment of the full weekend.
Loud speakers and PA lit candles and incense are not permitted.
Spaces are pre-assigned on the basis of a first-paid, first-assigned basis. No particular space can be guaranteed.
Electricity is provided upon request at no additional charge.
Psychics must supply 2 portable room dividers/screens for privacy.
We do not accept reading teams.
Tarot and other psychic readings are not permitted in the exhibitor area.
BY COMPLETING THIS APPLICATION AND SIGNING THE AGREEMENT, THE PSYCHIC READER AGREES:
They are an independent contractor and not an employee of the company.
Make payment for their space in full within 5 days of submitting this application.
Begin setting up their space no later than 9:30 AM. Please note that if you are not ON SITE by 8 AM and we have received no phone call from you that you will be running late, your space will be assigned to another psychic on our wait list.
Remain set up for the entire length of the event unless otherwise advised by the Event Manager.
Cooperate in and around the gathering of trash around your space.
Withdraw any material found objectionable by the staff/promoter.
Not perform tarot or other psychic reading services in the vendor area.
Perform ONLY THE READINGS LISTED on your application.
Security can ask that anyone leave the event and premises, at any time.
DO NOT bring loud speakers or PA systems.
Idemnify, defend and hold harmless the Festival of Witches,and Hilton Hotel, Rye Brook, its agents, officers, employees and representatives for all claims of bodily injury, property damage, product theft, and bodily injury including all consequential financial loss resulting therefrom as well as all legal expenses involved in handling such claims.
Collect and pay all municipal state and federal taxes related to all sales made.
Submit a copy of your NY State Sales Tax Certificate to the event manager no later than October15, 2019. Sales tax certificates MUST be displayed on vending tables.
Accept all conditions of this agreement.
By completing the Psychic Reader registration and contract and by submitting payment in full, Psychic agrees to all terms and conditions set forth in this contract and THE Psychic Reader AGREES TO PAY A NON-REFUNDABLE ENTREE PARTIAL PAYMENTS ACCEPTED! THE UNDERSIGNED EXHIBITOR AGREES TO FULFILL THE CONDITIONS STATED ABOVE (Important information paragraph).
Psychic Reader Application Payments MUST either accompany a completed application or be submitted within 5 days of the application. Spaces are only reserved for those Readers who have completed registration with BOTH application and payment. We reserve the right to refuse Refuse/Reject those applicants who do not follow these guidelines.
