In Loving Memory of
L.C. Macabre
(AKA Elsie Martinez-Ginsberg)
March 7, 1972-July 14, 2020
Elsie Martinez-Ginsberg (AKA L.C. Macabre) was surrounded by the love of her parents and family when she transitioned from this life on July 14, 2020, after a long battle with breast cancer. Elsie was the mastermind and powerhouse behind some of Long Island's favorite events, such as the Macabre Faire Film Festival alongside her husband, Adam; Haunt Faire, The Bizarre Haunted Flea Market, Immortal Con, Pomynauk Academy School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the owner of Killer Pillows, a business she started to help pay for her medical treatments and who has been a vendor with the Festival of Witches for the last 3 years. Elsie was more than a friend to many--she was family-- inspiring, leading and supporting many in the Witch and Pagan, Horror, Cosplay and Paranormal communities to reach their greatest potential.
We, at Festival of Witches wish to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to all those who loved, admired and cherished Elsie as much as we did. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
